What you need to know for the week beginning Monday 1st July

Dear Parents and Carers

It was really lovely to see so many of you as well as other family members in school today for our final Someone Special Day of the year. I had the privilege of observing acting, writing, science investigations, computer programming and sewing among many other things. And that was just the adults!

In all seriousness, thank you so much for coming into school. Our children love having you there and it's so important for you to be involved in their learning. It makes such a difference.

Here's what you need to know for next week:

  • Piano assembly for all classes in the hall at 9:10 am

  • Assembly led by Mrs Bagnall and the Sports Crew about healthy eating/lifestyle at 9:15am
  • 2-3pm Stay and Play for new Reception pupils only

  • Jade out for their first trip!

  • Year 5 will be enjoying a taster day at The Corsham School
  • 11:15 South Hills visit
  • Disco in the hall in the evening for Key Stage 1 and then Key Stage 2.

Finally, a BIG thank you in advance to everybody who is attending our Summer fair on Saturday. Friends of Regis and all the staff really appreciate your commitment in raising valuable funds for the school, in addition to bringing the Regis community together. The weather looks as if it's going to be a hot one so slap on the cream and / or cover up!

I hope you all have a lovely weekend.  Mr Gareth Spicer, Headteacher.
