What you need to know for the week beginning Monday 4th February.

Dear Parents and Carers
At the time of writing this bulletin, it is snowing quite a bit. If school is closed in the morning, I will be in touch as soon as a decision has been made in the interests of everyone's safety.
In the meantime, this is what you need to know for next week.

• Start of Chinese New Year Week and our assessments
• Safer Internet Day
• Safer Internet Day assembly at 9:15am led by Miss Denning
• Garnet Class assembly at 2:45 p.m.
• Parent and Carer consultation appointments 3:30 to 6 p.m.
• Mathletics club at 8 a.m.
• No Internet Challenge Day
• Academy Council meeting at 1:30pm
• Parent and carer consultation appointments 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. There are still appointment times left.
• Year 3&4 are visiting Corsham Institute’s Tech Showcase
• Year 6 are at The Corsham School
• As this is the end of our Chinese New Year Week, everyone is invited to wear red mufti. According to our knowledgeable colleague Mrs Doe, red symbolises fire which scares away evil spirits. It’s a Chinese tradition to wear red.
Have a super weekend everyone when it comes. Let’s hope we're not all snowed in!
