This year we have celebrated World Autism Awareness Week, which was from 1st - 7th April.
On Tuesday 2nd April the staff and children celebrated by wearing their favourite colours to school.
The children took part in activities that will make them more aware of the difficulties that Autistic and other children face. Hopefully this in turn will make them more tolerant of one another.
Some of our Autistic children worked together to bake short cake biscuits in the shape of puzzle pieces. These along with other cakes, kindly donated by staff and parents, were sold after school. We also provided some brochures and information for parents to read.
A great day was had by all and we made over £200:00 for the National Autistic Society.
