What you need to know for the week beginning Monday 17th June

Dear Parents and Carers

I'm sure I speak for most of us in hoping that this damp and dreary weather leaves us soon.

Before looking ahead to next week, I would like to highlight our successful moderation of Early Years on Monday by the Local Authority with all of Mrs Stone's judgements agreed. It's a requirement to be moderated every 4 years and this validates our accuracy in assessment.

I also need to praise the performances of our choir in rehearsals for the Blue Sky Festival event tomorrow led by Mrs Doe. Our participation in this event has gone from 2 to 36 pupils in 4 years. That’s brilliant!

Here's what you need to know for next week.

Monday:
• Anglo-Saxon Day on the field for Years 3-5
• Stay and play for new reception starters 2-3pm

Wednesday:
• National ‘Thank a Teacher Day’
• Sports Day – details as last week.

Thursday:
• Cricket festival for Years 5&6

Friday:
• Mufti Day – donate prizes for the Summer Fete hampers
• Year 6 Martial Arts lesson 9:15 – 10:15am
• Jade Class Martial Arts lesson 10:15 – 11am

Thank you to everyone for your support this week. Have a safe, dry and happy weekend.
