What you need to jnow for the week beginning Monday 20th May.

Dear Parents and Carers,

Firstly, our Year 6 pupils have completed their Year 6 SATs tests. They did themselves proud in how resilient they were when sitting them. I would like to thank Mrs Symons and the Year 6 team of staff for preparing the children for these tests, and to all the staff in supporting their administration these past 4 days. It's been quite a feat!

Here's what you need to know next week.

Monday:

  • The beginning of our Islam celebration week

Wednesday:

  • Key stage 2 Wow Day - remember to bring in some cardboard if you can.

Thursday:

  • Cricket festival for pupils selected in Years 3 and 4

Friday

  • Champions assembly at 9:15am
  • Half term!

Finally, there have been a number of disgruntled residents contacting the school about inconsiderate parking at pupil drop off and collection times. Access to properties and driveways have been blocked when there have been more suitable places to park nearby. This has led to some heated and completely unnecessary conversations between our neighbours and adults dropping off in cars. Please can I ask you to respect the access to our neighbours' properties when parking your car, regardless of the length of time you anticipate being there.

Thank you for your continuing support and have a great weekend.
